With WrestleMania season quickly approaching people are already starting to speculate about what matches with be on the card. The rumor mill is working overtime right now with loads of fantasy booked matches. After spending five minuets on Twitter I have already seen rumors about Stone Cold, Bill Goldberg, Sting and more. But in my opinion the most intriguing matchup I have heard floating around the Internet wrestling community has to be the Brock Lesnar versus Kevin Owens. Talk about an awesome sounding match with big time potential. This match would be HUGE!!! (Said in my best Trump voice). But in all seriousness this match would be a straight up violent brawl.

Just think about it Brock is a big guy and we all know how dominant he can be in the WWE ring. If you have any doubts just go back and watch his match from Summer Slam 2014 against John Cena. On the other side of the coin, Kevin Owens is no push over and he has plenty of big wins under his belt. Who could forget his first match on the main roster? He took the fight to John Cena and walked away with the win. I think that is what makes this match so intriguing; I could see Kevin Owens giving a Brock a run for his money. I have heard some talk online that Owens poor booking would hurt the chances of this feud actually occurring. But I certainly hope this isn’t the case, while Owens has not been booked well since beating John Cena. I think he still has enough time to be come a credible threat to Brock.

Kevin Owens not only has the strength and size to compete with Brock he also has the in ring ability and charisma. Owens knows how to cut a promo and he could have a lot of highly entertaining verbal wars with Paul Heyman. On top of that Owens ring work is always great and he consistently puts on five star matches with everyone he faces in WWE. I personally don’t think this match would be any different.

If WWE were to go forward and make this match official I think they would have a chance to make a huge new star for the company. Kevin Owens is already a star in WWE but he has not crossed that line and become a mega star yet. I think this feud and match could help him get to that point. WWE is in desperate need of a new mega heel and Owens fits that mold perfectly. Brock Lesnar has been on a rampage for almost two years now in WWE. He looks stronger than ever and the fans love when he comes back to WWE TV.  I can think of no better way to cement Owens as a top heel than to have him beat Brock Lesnar in his first every WrestleMania match.

So like most of the WrestleMania rumors, this one could end up being false but I really hope its not. WWE needs to make new stars and this is the perfect opportunity for that to happen.  I hope WWE goes forward with this match. They are trying to sell 100,000 seats to WrestleMania this year and I think this match would help make that happen.
