Raw Review The Night That Bo Dallas Almost Had It

Raw Review: The Night that Bo Dallas almost had it:

Hot off the heels of an absolutely loaded weekend of wrestling Monday night Raw kicked off with   with a pre-recorded video. In the video HHH and Seth Rollins were taking a tour of WWE's Corporate head quarters. They talked about the statue presentation that would take place later on tonight. We would later get to see the statue which looked like a giant chocolate Jesus holding two titles, one of which had no detail at all. Despite the odd look of the statue and the fact that we all knew something was up. I was hooked and I really enjoyed the opening part of the show.

After the video played we were graced by the presence of the one and only Brock Lesnar. Paul Haymen cut a nice promo about how disgusted he and Brock were and they challenged Undertaker to a match. The match would have taken place tonight if Bo Dallas had not interrupted the Beast to make his inspirational speech. Brock promptly checked Bo Dallas into suplex city and showed him around town for awhile. He suplexed Bo 5 times and performed the F5 for Haymen because Brock is a nice guy.  On a side note what the heck are they doing with Bo Dallas? He is a legit contender and has a fantastic heel act. He has done absolutely nothing since join the main roster and that is just a shame.

The next thing to happen was a tag match between the Lucha Dragons and New Day. New Day came out in their normal excited form, only this time Xavier Woods was playing a trombone as Kofi and Big E sang a tune to the people of Brooklyn. This was one of the best segments of the night. I really had a nice laugh at the goofy antics of New Day. After a short match New Day walked away with the win and began to celebrate when out of no where the Dudley Boyz music hit!!! The Dudley's came out to an absolutely MASSIVE pop! They came to the ring and proceeded to beat up New Day eventually putting Xavier Woods through a table. This was an awesome moment and was definitely one of those legit surprise moments. I had heard a lot of rumors about tonight's show but none of them included a Dudley Boyz return! This was a great moment and it looks like they are here to stay for a while which is fantastic.

Next up on the card was a Summer Slam rematch between The Wyatt Family and the duo of Reigns and Ambrose. This was a nice little match that built up to the end which was another surprise debut of the newest Wyatt Family member. The man was a monster of a man, who wore a black sheep mask. He came into the ring and began to throw Ambrose and Reigns around the ring like rag dolls. His NXT name was Braun Stowman. He was later introduced by Wyatt as Abigail's Black Sheep. The guy was a complete monster and I think he will give a much needed boost to the Wyatt Family which was in desperate need of a make over. Hopefully with this new monster on their side the Wyatt's will start picking up some wins in the near future.

Team PCB came out to the ring for Miz-TV. After a few minuets of talking Team Bella came down to the ring, this of course lead to a six woman tag match. The match was a long match but it was well wrestled and the girls were giving their all. The fans in Brooklyn really crapped all over this match. They were chanting multiple wrestler names like Blue Pants, Cm Punk and more. They also did the wave at one point and chanted we are awesome. You could tell it was really getting to the lady's, Charlotte had the "I want to go back to NXT" look on her face after the match and multiple lady's tweeted about disrespect following the match.  I will say that I feel like its time to change up this formula a little bit. We have seen numerous 6 woman tag matched over the last few weeks and its starting to get a little stale. I think its time we have some singles matches and the Diva's championship needs to be on the line at some point. It makes no since to have a "Diva's Revolution" when they are not fighting for anything. Hopefully this story line will evolve and change into something else sooner rather than later. The main roster women to be presented the way the NXT women are.  I didn't here one stupid chant on Saturday night during the NXT Women's title match, so I have to believe it was more than just the crowd.

John Stewart made his way down to the ring to explain his actions from last night. He began to talk and told us that he only did it because he couldn't stand around and watch as Rick Flair's record was beaten. He said he respected John Cena but he really didn't want the record to be broken. As he was talking Flair's music hit and he made his way down to the ring to educate John Stewart. He said he wanted Cena to win the match and that he would have been honored to lose that record to Cena.
Cena finally came out and confronted John about his actions.  John Stewart cracked a few jokes which got Cena all fired up. Cena would eventually give John Stewart the AA closing the segment.

Up next was an 8 man time killing tag match. All you need to know about this one was that...

A: The faces won the match
B: it wasn't a bad match but it was your standard 8 man tag match.

Finally it was timed to close the show with the unveiling of the Seth Rollins statue! HHH and Steph sang a quick and unscripted Happy Birthday to Vince who we all know was mad as fire back stage. After singing Rollins made his entrance and cut a really nice promo After Seth finished talking they pulled the curtain up on the mystery box and STING was standing where the statue was suppose to be. He beat up Rollins and threw him to Steph and HHH who had already fled to ring side. This was not a bad segment and we all knew it had to be Kane or Sting under that sheet. After Raw it was announced that Sting and Rollins would be having a match at Night of Champions. It has not been revealed at this point if the match will be for the titles but we can safely assume it will be.

Over all this was not a terrible episode of Raw! There were a few good surprise moments and a few slow moments too. The Dudley's coming back was a HUGE surprise. I never really saw that one coming. Sting popping out of the box was a rumor I had been hearing all day. I am happy to see that he will be attempting to win the WWE World Heavy Weight Championship but I really hope Rollins wins the match. I have really enjoyed this Rollins heel run and I don't want it to end any time soon. My favorite moment of the night had to be New Day singing with the trombone. That was the funniest thing I have seen on Raw in awhile. I am really happy that New Day won the tag titles on Sunday. I just hope they can hold on to them for a little bit longer. I feel like their title reign will be very short thanks to the return of the Dudley boys.

Well I hope you enjoyed watching Raw and I hope you enjoyed this weeks Raw Review!!! Take care Wrestling fans!!!
