Hell in the Cell Predictions

Hell in the Cell Predictions

By Justin

I don't know about you but I am ready for another WWE pay-per-view. It's feels like it has been forever since the last pay-per-view. There has been a very odd build for this show and I feel like it has been thrown but well planned out all at the same time. I was on twitter the other day and someone said " So is the card for Hell in the cell finalized yet?" I honestly had to step back and think about that question my self. I know they have done a great job building the feud between Brock and Taker. They have also done a great job with Kane and Rollins but everything else has kind of left us wanting. That being said I still think this pay-per-view has the potential to be a great show!  So with out further delay lets jump into my picks for the show.

Pre-show Match: Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, and Neville vs King Barrett, Sheamus, and Rusev

Well welcome to the land of misfit toys! This match screams "we don't know what else to do with you guys soooooooo have a match on the pre-show". These are all guys that should be playing a major role in every pay-per-view but here we are yet again watching them kick off the show. The good news is they will more than likely put on a great match because all of these guys regularly deliver! Yes I'm including Sheamus in that last sentence. I think the faces will come away with the victory in this one.

Winner: Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville walk away with the win.

Match 1: Nikki Bella vs Charlotte for the Diva's Championship:

This is what I hope to be Nikki's last chance at the Diva's title. She has been in the Diva's title picture for a long time and I think its time for a change. I have no problem with Nikki and she got here time at the top which is fine but now I want to see someone new going for the Diva's title. The Diva's roster is loaded with talent right now; they have Sasha, Becky, Paige and Nattie. All of these diva's are deserving of a shot at the title and I think they could all have great matches with Charlotte. As far as this match goes, I think it will be a decent match with a lot of back an forth action. Both of these ladies can wrestle and they both know how to put on a great match. Unlike a lot of people I think Nikki is a decent wrestler and I have been impressed with her work during her title run. We all know Charlotte can bring it in the ring so I am pretty excited for this one.

Winner: Charlotte will retain her title and move on to a new and fresh feud.

Match 2: Kevin Owens vs Ryback for the Intercontinental Championship:

Well I can't say I am super excited for this match but I know it will be a decent match. I know that because Kevin Owens is involved. Owens has been on the main roster for a while now and I still get hyped every time he comes out. He is the best pure heel in WWE right now. There has not been a ton of focus on this match but I think WWE did just enough to make it seem like an interesting match. Similar to my opinion on Nikki Bella; I think Ryback has been around the IC title to long. I am ready to see someone else rise up to challenge Owens for the title. I had originally hoped Cesaro would get the nod but that wasn't meant to be.

Winner: Kevin Owens retains the title.

Match 3: John Cena vs Mystery Opponent for the United States Championship:

I think this may be the match I am looking forward to the most tonight. The main reason I am excited for this one is the mystery surrounding the match. WWE has done a great job keeping this one a secret and the rumor mill is going nuts over this one. I have heard names like Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze, James Storm and even Daniel Bryan for this match. I honestly have no idea who will be the mystery opponent but any of the names I just mentioned would be fantastic. WWE has a great opportunity to do something special with this match and I hope they pull the trigger on it. We all know John Cena is taking some time off after tonights match, so my hope is they bring in someone strong to beat down Cena and take the title. I have a gut feeling that it will be someone from NXT since Ziggler and Dean Ambrose are already involved in matches for tonight. I am going to make a guess and say Samoa Joe will be coming up to the main roster tonight to take the US title.

Winner: Samoa Joe in his main roster debut!

Match 4: New Day vs The Dudley's for the WWE Tag Team Championship:

This is also a match I can't wait to see! If you have read any of my Raw reviews or my Twitter posts you would know I am a huge New Day fan. They are the best thing going on in wrestling at this point for me. WWE has done a great job evening out the odds by taking out Woods and leaving just Kofi and Big E to fight the Dudley's. I think this match will be a great back and forth match with all the New Day antics we have all come to love. But that being said I have a feeling that the Dudley's will walk away with the titles tonight. I am really hoping for New Day to pick up the win and continue  the chase for a few more weeks but I can't see them beating the Dudley's in this one.

Winner: The Dudley Boys finally get the best of New Day. I look for New Day to get their sweet revenge very very soon.

Match 5: Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt in Hell in the Cell:

I feel like I say this almost every pay-per-view but this is a must win match for Bray Wyatt. WWE has done an amazing job building the Wyatt's for the last few weeks. The new additions were much needed and have brought some new life to the gimmick. They have also slowly brought back the old members to make the Wyatt's look even more unstoppable. It would be a shame for them to build up this monster group only to have their leader lose once again. I have a sneaking feeling that Roman may get the win here and if he doesn't I would be very surprised. Roman has spent the last week or so single handedly taking out the Wyatt's which doesn't look good for Bray.  My hope is that Bray will have some tricks up his sleeve and he will walk away with the victory tonight. I am hoping for maybe another member to make their surprise appearance and save Bray from a huge loss.

Winner: Bray Wyatt thanks to some help from someone. ( A new member or his normal group of goons).

Match 6: Seth Rollins vs Kane  for the WWE World Heavy Weight Championship:

This is a very interesting match for me to predict. I could honestly see this match going either way. On one hand I could see Seth picking up the victory in some sly and devious way like he always does. But I could also see Kane picking up the surprise win over Rollins. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Kane take the victory tonight. He is long over due for a nice short title run and honestly if this is his last chance I want him to have one before he retires. I could also see Kane getting the win only to have Sheamus cash in and win the title from him. That would also be a finish I am fine with, that would set into motion a ton of new story line s for Rollins and the Authority and that could be very fun.

Winner: Seth Rollins walks away with the Title once again and he proves he is the Future and the Present.

Match 7: Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar in a Hell in the Cell:

This match is the big draw for this pay-per-view and these two are finally going to finish this long feud. The two of them put on one heck of a show at Summer Slam and the sly finish really added some life to this feud. It's hard to say what kind of match these guys will put on but I am hoping for a match like their last one instead of their Wrestle Mania bout. I have a feeling that Brock Lesnar gets the win tonight and I hope Taker can stay health and make a return with a new feud soon.

Winner: Brock Lesnar gets the win and ends this nice little feud.
